Half Times Online
Half Times Online
overview
Robert Half Times magazine contains company information for all employees, including news items, social media updates, LOB insights, feature articles and anniversary recognition. The four-color print magazine is available only in a limited number of copies at all office locations. Customer requested an in-house print publication be added to the company intranet. Challenges included integration into current intranet design, user familiarity with content when transferred to a digital version, and meeting customer’s development needs. Users were asked to complete a brief questionnaire prior to the interview to answer company information and share their familiarity with the Half Times publication and to be also tested with proposed site navigation.
Role
As a User Experience Designer/Architect, I helped facilitate and test proposed site navigation and to see if user’s were able to complete tasks.

"We all love Resumania, looking at photos and pictures"
"Really easy." "User friendly."
"I like Half Times because it feels very international - people, faces, and stories."
Outcome
The UX Team discovered that participants had a lot of positive associations with Half Times and the potential of putting it online. The proposed site navigation worked, and all participants were able to complete tasks without getting stuck. Majority of participants worked systematically through the navigation by scanning the page from left to right. International participants voiced concerns about including global branding and content.
